CTET 2018 Exam Pattern will be decided CBSE. CTET 2018 will conduct on September 16, 2018. The exam will be held for the candidates who wish to teach the students of Class I to VIII. The separate paper will be arranged for the candidates according to their interest to teach.

CTET syllaus for paper I
Subject- Child Development and Pedagogy: This subject will contain 30 questions. The topics on this subject will be of Child Development (Primary School Child), The concept of Inclusive education and understanding children with special needs, and Learning and Pedagogy.Subject- Language I: This subject will contain 30 questions. The topics on this subject are:
- Language Comprehension: It will contain 15 questions related to Reading unseen passages – two passages one prose or drama and one poem with questions on comprehension, inference, grammar and verbal ability.
- Pedagogy of Language Development: It will contain 15 questions. For this subject, there are various topics under it. The topics are:
- Learning and acquisition
- Principles of Language Teaching
- Role of listening and speaking, function of language and how children use it as a tool
- Critical perspective on the role of grammar in learning a language for communicating ideas verbally and in written form
- Challenges of teaching language in a diverse classroom, language difficulties, errors and disorders
- Language Skills
- Evaluating language comprehension and proficiency: speaking, listening, reading and writing
- Teaching-learning materials: Textbook, multi-media materials, multilingual resource for the classroom
- Remedial Teaching
Subject- Language – II: It will consist of 30 questions. the topics on this subject are:
- Comprehension: There will be 15 questions. Two unseen prose passages with the questions on comprehension, grammar, and verbal ability kind of topics will be asked in this.
- Pedagogy of Language Development: It will contain 15 questions. For this subject, there are various topics under it. The topics are:
